Exclusive Charters:

Customised Arrangements -  Flexibility is everything.  Charter the train or ship and you choose the destination, the length of journey and all the activities on and off board. 
This gives you: 

• private use of all the public areas (bar, dining cars, observation deck)
• choice of own menu and mealtimes
• flexibility to arrange your own seating plans and compartment assignments
• freedom to enhance the programme with additional special arrangements

Scheduled or Tailor-Made Charters -  You can hire the train or ship for one of its scheduled journeys, or we can help you to put together your own itinerary to suit your particular timetable and requirements.  If you do not have the time to charter an overnight journey, you can even hire the train for a day trip excursion or spectacular gala dinner.

Groups:
Orient-Express has many years' experience of welcoming groups on board its scheduled departures. Group discounts will vary according to the specific number of passengers travelling together and the date of travel.

Flexibility:
A group may travel for all or part of a scheduled itinerary from an overnight journey to a day sector, subject to availability.

Exclusivity:
A group may have exclusive use of the dining car for meals, subject to the size of the group and the number of places in the dining car.  On overnight journeys a group may be accommodated together in adjoining compartments/carriages.

Special Arrangements:
A variety of special arrangements can be made to enhance the on board experience although sometimes this is only possible to arrange when the train or ship is chartered exclusively:

Pre/Post Departures -  Musicians/Photographer/Platform entertainment.

On Board -  Photographer/Entertainment (magician, caricaturist, extra musicians)/Murder mystery scenario.

In the Compartment -  Welcome letter/Flowers/Champagne/Gift.

In the Restaurant/Bar -  On board signing facility/Pre-selected drinks/Canapés/Customised menu to incorporate customer's logo, and special welcome message.

Dining:
The Orient-Express prides itself on its superb cuisine and fine wines.  All food is cooked on board by a team of talented chefs, using only the freshest ingredients.

All table d'hôte meals, as well as selected wines and champagne, are included in the fare for groups and scheduled charters.  When hiring the train for a tailormade charter you can specify your own menu.

Additional drinks may be ordered and paid for in advance or you may arrange an 'open bar' facility, payment for which is made before leaving the train.
