Family Reunited
"One of the hotel's regular guests invited 40 family members, including twelve youngsters, from around the world for three days of child-friendly festive celebrations. On day one, while the adults chatted in the sun, the children made pizzas at the pool restaurant with help from the chef, before serving them to the family for lunch.
The next day everyone set off in two private yachts for the Cinque Terre, stopping at the pictoresque port of Vernazza at a restaurant well known for its fish. Dinner that evening was at the Chuflay, by the harbour in Portofino's piazzetta. Two actors appeared as 'crazy waiters' to keep the children (and the adults!) entertained. As darkness fell, a host of candles was lit beside the water - pure magic.
The final day tables were set out by the pool, balloons were strung on trees, a magician appeared, and finally a cake was served on plates hand painted with the name of the event."
