Guia comes from Rome and has the soul of a gypsy: she has lived in the UK, Switzerland and Ireland—and has now found a new home in Portofino.
After completing a Law degree in London, she began a career in entertainment law, but soon concluded that life outside the court room was more entertaining. In 2007, she decided that the hotel industry was the way to go—and has been more than happy with this major career change ever since.
Following work experience in some of the finest hotels in Italy, she was delighted to join Hotel Splendido and Splendido Mare. She describes the two properties as offering “fun luxury”, pure elegance and a high level of service. But the most important aspect of all, she feels, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
With a passion for gastronomy, pastry making, art history and playing the piano, Guia has a wide range of interests, which she loves to share with others. She enjoys passing on the Splendido dream to journalists and travel agents.
